Time to Move On Up....

It has been good to me over the last few years. But, as my business grows, I need to as well.

Thirty-one.... 3-1.... 3.....1.....

So. Today happens to be my birthday! Or as my family and friends now know it - the greatest day ever! Or as I like to refer to it as, the middle of my birthday celebration. You see, I like to celebrate the entire month! It makes life a little spicier!! ;)

OK, well, maybe not the greatest day ever, but the greatest day to me. I love my birthday. It's not about getting older (most of the time), but for me, it's a reason to celebrate with family and friends. The older you get the more life seems to get in the way. You have to relish the time you can spend together.

This has been a beautiful weekend so far. Rick has been taking such good care of me and really making sure that this day, my day, is special. I am truly blessed to have Rick. So, today. I turn 31. So far, it's not a bad number. I've accomplished most, not all, of what I thought I would have accomplished by 31. One thing stands in my way, just out of my grasp. One day though, one day it will happen, I just know it.

Anywho. I hope you find this post and cherish your loved ones. Appreciate the friendships in life. Let them know that no matter how little time you get to spend together as life happens, you are always thinking about them. Kind and true words that are on loan from my amazing BFF.

Chris + Jen Stewart - Las Vegas Fun!

So... Rick + I headed out to Las Vegas at the beginning of March for WPPI (a conference for Wedding and Portrait Photographers). It was awesome, to say the least! LOL

During our stay we had some time blocked off to spend with Dave + Kim Baxter (two super awesome people) from Ohana Photographers. I bid on Dave and Kim for the ThirstRelief Mentor Auction and was so stoked that I won time with them. We went out to Old Vegas and I was lucky enough to be able to turn my camera on Chris + Jen Stewart (two more super awesome people).

We had a blast and thank goodness Jen is a professional and rocked it. Cause it was freaking freezing out there!

Dave, Kim, Chris + Jen, thank you for creating an awesome experience for Rick + I. We are honored to call you friends. We can't wait for the next time we can all hang out again! You guys rock! :)

Kate + Brad - Lakeland Wedding Photographer

Rick and I had a blast with Kate and Brad last weekend. We ventured up to Lakeland and hung out at Hollis Gardens for a while on what I can only explain as the first official day of wedding season! Everyone was out in full force. But, it was also the first seriously beautiful weekend of the year in Florida! Later, we headed over to Florida Southern College, where Kate and Brad met for some photo fun.

We can't wait to see these two love birds get married in July!

St. Pete Engagement Photographer - Stacy + Jonathan

There isn't much to say about Stacy and Jonathan besides they rock! They are getting married next April in New Orleans, which is sure to be a heck of a party!!
